OUR PROCESS
Customer’s cleaning dates and details are logged in our CRM database. Customers are notified when their hood systems are due for cleaning and are asked to schedule appointments. Once appointments are booked, our uniformed technicians review job instructions electronically and drive a properly equipped company vehicle to the location. Once onsite technicians apply appropriate PPE, inspect the system, and note any deficiencies found. Next the cleaning supplies are unpacked from the van, and the kitchen is prepared for the cleaning. Cooking surfaces and equipment are covered with polyurethane sheeting to protect from any possible spills. Stainless steel filters are removed and placed in a diluted cleaning solution to soak. The hood is ‘wrapped’ with additional poly to contain and direct wash water and grease down from the hood and ducts into a 44 gallon poly wrapped waste container to be removed. The interior of the hood, duct, and blower are pre-treated with a cleaning solution to help break down grease build up inside the system. To rinse the system and finally remove grease, heated high pressure water is applied. If necessary the process is repeated, or systems are manually cleaned. In worse cases solid build up is removed with surface tools. Once the hood system is cleaned and dried, the hood is polished with shine. Before departure technicians replace the cleaned hood filters, perform a general cleaning of the kitchen area including mopping floors, removing poly coverings, and return the kitchen to the state it was found. A certification sticker is placed on the hood with the cleaning date, and recommended future cleaning date. An after call report is completed with an invoice and turned in to our management to be reviewed and entered into the computer. After call reports are logged and available to customers upon request.
